Project Director
Location: Acton, West London
Salary: £140,000 to £150,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Lead the Delivery of Some of the UK's Most Complex Construction Projects!
Our client delivers specialist construction projects across the data, defence and energy sectors. From site acquisition and design through to construction, commissioning and client handover, they work on technically demanding projects where quality, engineering excellence and collaboration are at the heart of everything they do.
They're looking for an experienced Project Director to take overall responsibility for delivering major projects valued at £50m+. This is a senior leadership role, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the exceptionally high standards their clients expect.
If you have a strong Tier 1 main contractor background, extensive MEP delivery experience, and a track record of successfully leading large, complex projects, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role
As Project Director, you'll provide strategic leadership across every stage of the project lifecycle, building strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery teams while driving performance across commercial, operational and engineering functions.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the successful delivery of major projects from pre-construction through to completion and client handover.
- Providing leadership and direction to Project Managers, Engineering, Commercial and Construction teams.
- Building long-term relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners to support repeat business.
- Driving programme, commercial, quality and operational performance across the project.
- Managing project risk, governance and contractual obligations.
- Working closely with commercial teams to maximize project performance and profitability.
- Promoting a collaborative culture with safety, quality and customer satisfaction at the centre of every decision.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project Director delivering £50m+ construction projects.
- Strong Tier 1 main contractor background.
- Excellent understanding of MEP delivery on technically complex projects.
- Experience delivering projects within sectors such as data centres, defence, mission critical, energy, healthcare or major infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
- Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing programme, cost, risk and project performance.
- Degree qualified in a construction related discipline or equivalent.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
- A confident leader with the ability to develop high-performing teams and build lasting client relationships.
