The Shore Group has been appointed to recruit a Project Director for a highly regarded Workplace Fit Out Contractor with an outstanding track record of delivering exceptional projects for a portfolio of corporate occupier clients.
Our client is seeking a commercially minded and relationship-driven individual who wants to play a pivotal role in securing and shaping some of the market's most exciting workplace projects.

What We're Looking For
- Experience leading or playing a significant role in complex workplace, fit out, or design & build projects, with a clear understanding of how projects are secured, developed through pre-construction, and successfully transitioned into delivery.
- Experience of CAT A and CAT B office fit out projects with a minimum value of £7 Million.
- Experience building relationships with clients, consultants, and professional teams, together with a proven ability to support pitches, presentations, and the successful securing of workplace projects.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives successful project outcomes.

The Opportunity
You will become the trusted advisor to clients from the earliest stages of engagement, helping them define their objectives, develop project strategies, and navigate the journey from initial conversation through to contract award.
Working alongside Design, Commercial, and Pre-Construction teams, you will lead opportunities through the work-winning process, ensuring that solutions are commercially sound, technically robust, and aligned to the client's aspirations.
Once secured, projects will be handed over to a dedicated delivery team, allowing you to remain focused on what you do best: building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping clients bring ambitious projects to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading client engagement from the initial opportunity through to contract award.
- Developing trusted relationships with key occupiers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Shaping project strategies and helping clients define their workplace objectives.
- Coordinating Design, Commercial, and Pre-Construction teams to develop winning solutions.
- Leading presentations, workshops, pitches, and proposal discussions.
- Managing opportunities through the full pre-construction lifecycle.
- Ensuring projects are successfully transitioned into delivery following appointment.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
