Bovis Overview

Bovis builds enduring partnerships, bringing together the right expertise, the right capabilities and the right resources to deliver the most complex projects.

We know from decades of experience that successful delivery of multi-year complex projects requires close working relationships and collaboration through the supply chain. That’s why we share risk and invest in people and relationships at every level.

We make things happen, anticipating challenges before they arise. Drawing on our highly experienced, multi-disciplinary teams, we bring a fresh perspective, tailoring our approach to the specific demands of the project, helping to simplify complexity and minimise risk.

What We Are Recruiting For

We are currently recruiting for a Project Director to join our private sector construction division based in London working on projects in London and the Southeast. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a large-scale private sector project, ensuring high performance, clear decision-making and strong client focus. Central to your success will be the ability to interpret client and programme requirements and translate them into compliant, buildable and commercially robust solutions. This includes guiding design, technical, commercial and clinical assurance through pre-construction and ensuring predictable, safe and high-quality delivery during construction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead senior level relationships with the client, stakeholders and counterparts.
  • Shape and direct project level strategy, translating clients’ needs and guidance into clear delivery plans.
  • Drive multidisciplinary team performance across design, commercial, technical and construction functions.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring smooth transition from preconstruction through construction and commissioning.
  • Continuously review strategy, design maturity, cost and risk, implementing early corrective actions.
  • Develop detailed delivery plans including logistics, sequencing, procurement and integration of repeatable solutions.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Trust teams, designers and the supply chain to support collaborative delivery.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning to maintain integrated planning and accountability.
  • Provide accurate reporting and reviews, ensuring financial control, risk transparency and alignment with Bovis and client expectations.
  • Champion an Incident & Injury Free culture through safe design, safe planning and safe operations.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the project team, ensuring capability, resource planning and succession.
  • Embed sustainable design and delivery principles aligned with client goals.
  • Promote best in class quality and a “Right First Time” culture across all technical and construction activities.
  • Proactively identify, manage and escalate project risks.
  • Conduct structured project reviews to ensure milestone readiness and compliance with assurance requirements.
  • Manage supply chain performance, ensuring capability, compliance and consistent delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
