Ziztel Limited is a UK-based manufacturer of specialist equipment for the global Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries, operating from its headquarters in Nottingham, England. The company delivers CCTV systems for hazardous and weatherproof environments, public address and general alarm solutions, and a range of ancillary field equipment including loudspeakers, beacons, telephones, and acoustic hoods. Role Description

The Project Engineer role at Ziztel Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Nottingham. The Project Engineer will oversee the technical and engineering aspects of projects, including design, specification, and integration of Ziztel systems for Oil & Gas and Power Generation clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Preparing project documentation
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Supporting project planning and scheduling
  • Ensuring that solutions meet relevant standards and client requirements

The role involves:

  • Reviewing technical drawings
  • Assisting with system configuration and commissioning
  • Providing engineering support throughout the project lifecycle

The Project Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of processes and help maintain alignment with Ziztel’s quality and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Demonstrated Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources across multiple projects.
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary internal teams.
  • Experience in industrial, Oil & Gas, or Power Generation environments, ideally involving life safety or control systems.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification; professional certifications in project management or engineering are an advantage.
  • Proficiency with standard engineering and office software tools, and familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • Ability to work on-site in Nottingham, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail and safety.
