Role: Project Engineer
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Aberdeen

Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for a Project Engineer to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.

Project Engineer – Key responsibilities:

  • Support the project team by preparing quotations, assessing work requirements, identifying risks, and estimating delivery timescales.
  • Build strong customer relationships, develop new opportunities, and attend project meetings with customers and site teams across the UK.
  • Manage customer communication throughout the project and support successful project completion, including reviews and lessons learned.
  • Oversee project delivery by managing contracts, costs, timescales, changes, and risk assessments to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Provide on-site support across the UK and internationally, ensuring the right people, equipment, and information are available throughout the project.

Project Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the electrical rotating machines industry with a relevant BTEC/HND qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Understanding of project financial impacts, with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with experience supervising others preferred.
  • A proactive and motivated approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and flexibility to work on sites across the UK and internationally.
