Project Engineer - Water Projects - West Yorkshire
£45,000 + Car / Allowance
I’m working with a rapidly growing engineering business in Yorkshire that is looking to add a Project Engineer to its team.
The business delivers specialist engineering projects predominantly across the Yorkshire Water network and has a strong pipeline of work ahead.
This isn’t a huge corporate environment where you become another number. It’s a small, close-knit team with a proper family feel, backed by a wider engineering group, with plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and take on more responsibility as the business grows.
They’re ideally looking for somebody with water industry / MEICA experience, but they’re also open to speaking with Junior Project Engineers or Engineers ready to make the next step.

You’ll get involved across the full project lifecycle, including:
- Project delivery from enquiry through to completion
- Design and technical coordination
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and trades
- Client and Yorkshire Water liaison
- Programme, quality and H&S documentation
- Supporting delivery across specialist mechanical/electrical projects
- Taking increasing ownership of projects as you develop
Ideally, you’ll have an Electrical Engineering qualification at HNC/HND/Degree/NVQ level or equivalent, alongside a full UK driving licence.
