Project Engineers (All Levels)
Location: Blyth or Darlington offices
Salary: Competitive basic + package
Length of Contract: Permanent
Role Description (Project Engineer)
To provide Engineering support to the project from (tender support where required) kick-off, Document preparation, equipment sourcing, operational support, and through As-Built documentation preparation.
The post holder is required to work both on and offshore, as well as remote postings in Client offices, or Company project sites for periods of time as required by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- To Understand the Scope of Work
- To compile Procedures, Task Plans, RAMS as required to suit the Scope of Work
- Support the preparation and issue of the Project HIRA
- To compile the PEL (Project Equipment List) and support the sourcing of equipment / consumables
- To support the Operational phase of the project both on-site and from the office
- To compile the As-Built documentation
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQS requirements, company policies, processes, and procedures
- In all phases of operations, due consideration shall be given to the safety and occupational health of self, the environment, and company assets. Ensure that all work is performed in conformance with HSEQS requirements set out by Company and Client, and applicable statutory regulations.
- Progress, manage, record, and contribute to your learning and development in line with the goals and objectives set out through periodic review/appraisal meetings
- Uphold the Companies standards and values at all times and throughout all activities and be an exemplary representative of Enshore Subsea.

Key Tasks:
- The post holder shall be required to perform their duties onshore at one of the Enshore office locations and may be required to work offshore or in-country depending on the project requirements.
- To provide Engineering excellence during documentation preparation - Support internal and internal projects by managing the development or personally developing of MDR deliverables within assigned package or area of responsibility including but not limited to Procedures, Risk Assessments, Lift Plans, and Task Plans.
- To support the Procurement of specialist Project equipment and consumables
- To support Logistics with appropriate HMRC paperwork preparation
- Organise appropriate resource and services for mobilisation
- To provide Engineering excellence during the operational phase of the project as required (sourcing equipment / consumables etc locally, preparation of Management of Change against the project documentation)
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to you.

To be considered for the position you will have:
- BEng / BEng (Hons) Degree of an appropriate discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
- Project Engineering experience from a suitable industry
- Offshore experience preferably from cable/pipe lay operations.
- Offshore experience preferably trenching operations.
- Engineers should be comfortable communicating with Client Project Managers / Engineers and Document Controllers
- Engineers should be comfortable discussing Project Documentation / Operations with all levels within Company
- Attention to detail and ability to combine sound technical and theoretical knowledge to identify problems, propose solutions, and follow these through to conclusion.
Desirably
- MEng Degree of an appropriate discipline
- Project Management Qualification
- OPITO and Offshore Medical or equivalent (GWO etc)
