Responsible for Coordinating projects through their complete lifecycle, whilst supporting the Project Manager and Shopfloor Teams, working with clients from order stage, coordinating internal project teams and ensuring successful FAT and site installation whilst assisting with maintaining all budgetary, legal and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing Project Builds and ensuring build timelines are adhered to.
- Ensuring Mechanical & Electrical Technicians have the required materials to carry out their builds efficiently.
- Communicating across various business departments to highlight any potential project risks.
- Ensuring the project snagging list is up to date and chasing up various departments to get parts into build on time.
- Creating Non-Conformance Reports for parts that fail inspection or practices that do not match the business requirements.
- Finding and Locating parts in a timely manner to prevent delays in build.
- Working Alongside Project Managers to ensure project schedules are up to date, highlighting risks, and supporting the project planning activities.
- Support both the Projects Team and Shopfloor Teams during customer visits and Factory Acceptance testing
- Creating Kitting Lists for the Kitting Team to follow
- Supporting the Coordination of Logistics when a project is being shipped to the client.
- Communicating across various business departments to coordinate activities such as Production & Purchasing, Metal Finishing, Fitting Resource & Electrical Resource.

Qualifications
- Minimum HNC qualified in relevant mechanical discipline or demonstrate through significant experience
- Project Management qualification
Key Skills & Abilities
- A strong understanding of project lifecycle from concept to completion; this includes development of project plans and co-ordination of project delivery.
- Possess a good understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Proven ability to develop and maintain accurate project plans is essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Experience in delivering solutions to technical problems.
- Experience of working within a multi-skilled environment (i.e. knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic and electrical components)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to provide quality information within deadlines
- Proactive interaction with other functions
- Team-player and ability to work on own initiative
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to interpret numerical data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
