Thanks to a combined wealth of knowledge and experience between our directors, Global have become industry experts in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire safety, fire suppression and security systems.
Due to continued growth and market development, we are now seeking to appoint a number of Small Works Project Engineers - Installations, covering a number of locations South and East London.
Job Purpose
Install and commission of fire systems and fire related systems, working independently.
Key Accountabilities
- Installing, configuring, and commissioning Fire, Life Safety and Security systems.
- Inspecting site(s) regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Analysing technical drawings to ensure that project needs are met.
- Testing and troubleshooting systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Providing training to end-users on how to use systems.
- Function as a technical specialist.
- Practice and always comply with safety standards.
- Recognise opportunities to improve clients compliance through Global systems.

About You
- Knowledge and experience of Notifier, GENT and Advanced among other fire systems.
- Use of Apollo, Hochiki among other protocols.
- Emergency lighting, Disabled Refuge and Disabled Alarm systems.
- Previous experience in similar role, or installation and service experience would be advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of standards and regulations.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- You will be conversant with various Fire and Life Safety systems.
- Previous knowledge of Security systems would be of benefit.
- You will also have experience of multiple communications protocols from differing manufacturers.
- Knowledgeable of fire / life safety systems and the associated standards / regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of the codes of practice and construction safety regulations.
