£36,000 - £38,000 + Progression + Hybrid + Training + 33 Days Holiday + Flexitime+ Discount Reward Scheme

Are you a Project Engineer from a highways or civils background, looking to join a thriving company offering excellent in-house training and rapid progression to senior positions, where you will become the technical expert on highway design?

In this role you will evaluate and review designs and schemes, carry out inspections, liaise with important stakeholders and clients and work with Engineers and Project Managers to resolve technical issues. This is a varied role, where you will be involved with projects worth millions of pounds.

Founded over a decade ago, this company design, construct and maintain highway systems. This ranges from consultations of infrastructure improvement, electrical works and the building of roads. This company is rapidly expanding and looking to take on more contracts, whilst providing the best service they can to their clients.

This role would suit a Project Engineer looking for a new and exciting opportunity, where they can progress to senior and technical lead positions and become a technical expert.

The Role

  • Evaluate technical designs and schemes to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards
  • Work with developers, consultants and stakeholders to resolve technical queries
  • Carry out inspections and test technical compliance
  • Liaise with important clients and stakeholders within the council and local community
  • Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Flexible times available
  • Hybrid hours, up to two days work from home
