Clarke seeking two proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineers to join our Smart Networks team, supporting the successful delivery of mobile telecommunications infrastructure projects across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced telecoms professionals who enjoy problem-solving, stakeholder management and driving projects through to completion. Working at the heart of project delivery, you'll collaborate with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure sites progress smoothly from pre-build through to handover.

The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring milestones are achieved and customer requirements are met. You'll work closely with Project Managers and internal teams to identify and resolve issues, maintain accurate project data, and drive projects forward throughout the build lifecycle.
Acting as a central point of coordination, you'll work with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, scheduling and delivery of telecommunications projects.
- Drive sites through pre-build milestones, ensuring dependencies are cleared and projects remain on track.
- Coordinate with internal departments to maintain accurate project information and reporting.
- Monitor site progress and proactively manage the resolution of pre-build, in-build and post-build issues.
- Manage and track project equipment, free issue kit and associated documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and required build documentation.
- Support the production and completion of handover packs and client deliverables.
- Work with client handover teams to resolve outstanding issues and facilitate site acceptance.
- Attend client meetings and project reviews, providing updates and supporting issue resolution.
- Ensure client databases and internal systems accurately reflect project status and progress.
- Collaborate with Design, Build and Electrical teams to maintain project data and reporting accuracy.
- Support compliance activities, including the resolution of audit findings and adherence to client standards.
- Work with Commercial teams to help progress completed sites through to invoicing.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a similar technical role within the mobile telecommunications industry.
- Experience identifying, tracking and resolving pre-build, in-build and post-build project issues.
- Experience using client databases and systems to monitor and report on project progress.
- Experience coordinating and working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel to client sites, company offices and meetings as required.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience working within a fast-paced project delivery environment.
- Additional experience within the mobile telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge or experience of health and safety requirements within telecoms projects.
