Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in London.

About the Client
Our client is a leading UK-based contractor specializing in heavy construction, deconstruction, and enabling services.

Project Details

  • Locations: Central London
  • Rate: £350 - £380 per day (depending upon experience)

Skills & Requirements

  • Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout construction.
  • Coordinate demolition, temporary works, RC frames, precast, waterproofing, drainage, and core construction activities.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions, resolving site issues efficiently.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and in line with design, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage RFIs, design coordination, engineering records, and progress reporting.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor quality, compliance, and construction progress.
  • Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and costs.
  • Qualifications:
    • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
    • Experience in demolition, temporary works, RC frame, basement, or major construction projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
