The Opportunity
This opportunity will allow you to develop technical solutions with our customers through close collaboration with our engineering and design teams.
In this role, you will take full ownership of projects from acquisition to delivery, providing ongoing support to customers. You will leverage PWR's technical capabilities and identify commercial opportunities to maximise value for both the customer and PWR.
An important part of this role is being able to meet performance, budget, and time constraints while liaising with different stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be technically minded, possess strong organisational skills and be able to work under fast-paced conditions.
Duties & Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with all WHS policies as outlined in the HR Manual and Employment Policy guide.
- Participate and contribute in all WHS Toolbox meetings.
- Participate in department WHS, Fire and Evacuation and Emergency training.
- Always demonstrate a high degree of safety awareness.

Specific Duties of Role
- Serve as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for customers, managing communications throughout new and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and other internal teams to develop and refine project solutions.
- Prepare detailed project timelines and cost quotations in alignment with customer specifications and business objectives.
- Coordinate the release of projects into production, ensuring smooth handover from design to manufacturing.
- Monitor project progress through manufacturing to ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Work closely with procurement and external suppliers to source specialized materials or services required for custom project needs.
- Support product development initiatives and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies.
- Apply technical expertise and product knowledge to support business development and new sales opportunities.

Your Skills and Experience
- A relevant degree i.e. Mechanical Engineering
- Prior experience working in the same or similar role within the Automotive Industry
- Proven problem-solving skills and can demonstrate quick thinking to solve technical issues under tight deadlines
- Adaptability and decision making working on high-pressure projects
- Advanced computer skills working with SolidWorks, CAD
- Motivation, drive and dedication towards motorsport and performance ability
- Excellent technical customer service skills with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to collaborate and be a strong team player
- A passion for motorsport and knowledge of the industry
