The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to provide assistance to the Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the project including maintaining and improvement in the quality and timeliness of detailed design and construction within assign discipline. The role is required to provide additional values to clients through the use of innovation design and construct knowledge, processes, tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project & Site Management: Assist with project coordination and subcontractor management, supporting on-time completion and quality adherence.
  • Design Management: Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve design issues and provide technical input during the design and construction phases.
  • Program Preparation & Administration: Help develop and maintain detailed project schedules, supporting effective program management and delivery.
  • Site-Based Execution: Assist in cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls on-site, ensuring compliance and reporting progress to senior engineers.
  • Health & Safety Advocacy: Support health and safety initiatives, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant building and tertiary qualifications
  • Proven experience in large-scale construction projects
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to lead and solve complex problems
  • Experience managing subcontractor performance and coordinating design processes
  • Knowledge of cost management, quality assurance, and environmental controls
  • A strong commitment to advocating and promoting health and safety standards
