Project Engineer – Offshore Renewable Energy

Join one of the world's most exciting offshore energy sectors

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Project Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of major offshore renewable energy projects across the UK and Europe.

Based in our client's UK head office in Weybridge, Surrey and reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the planning, engineering and execution of complex Offshore Renewable Energy projects, including Subsea Rock Installation (SRI) activities that protect offshore wind infrastructure, subsea cables and pipelines.

Working alongside highly experienced engineering professionals, you will gain exposure to every stage of project delivery, from tender support and engineering studies through to offshore execution, technical problem solving and continuous improvement. This role offers an excellent platform for an engineer looking to build a long-term career within the offshore energy industry.

The Opportunity

As Project Engineer, you will provide practical engineering support across a portfolio of offshore energy projects, helping to deliver safe, efficient and technically robust solutions. You'll work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, HSE, Commercial and Supply Chain teams, giving you broad exposure to multidisciplinary project delivery while developing your technical expertise in subsea engineering and offshore construction. No two projects are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and working in a collaborative, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Engineering

  • Support the successful delivery of offshore energy projects from planning through to execution.
  • Assist in producing engineering documentation, technical reports, calculations and project deliverables.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports, monitor project actions and support engineering governance.
  • Provide engineering support to resolve technical issues during project planning and offshore operations.
  • Assist with project planning, risk identification and technical decision making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project performance and operational efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
