PROJECT ENGINEER Sizewell C | £45,000 + Lodging & Travel Allowances

NEOS Engineering are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join an established engineering contractor working on the major Sizewell C project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer with a background in earthworks or civil engineering to take ownership of complex projects from planning through to completion, working alongside major infrastructure stakeholders.

THE ROLE

As Project Engineer, you'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across safety, quality, programme and commercial performance. You'll act as a key technical point of contact, working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of project objectives across safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.
  • Manage projects through the full lifecycle, from initial planning and design through to execution and completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with commercial, planning and HSEQ teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, risks and opportunities, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the project team.
  • Ensure all works comply with contractual, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Produce accurate project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Support a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer with:

  • Proven experience delivering earthworks or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge across core civil engineering disciplines.
  • Experience managing complex projects within demanding infrastructure environments.
  • A relevant engineering qualification and strong academic/technical background.
  • Chartered status with ICE or actively working towards Chartered status.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound technical decisions.
  • A strong focus on safety, quality and project delivery.
