A leading specialist contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a number of high-profile projects across Central London.
Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience. If you are a good match, make an application.
This is not your typical short-term contract role. The successful candidate will be joining a business with a substantial pipeline of secured work, offering long-term continuity and stability that many freelance opportunities simply can't provide. It's an environment where contractors are treated as a valued part of the team, often remaining with the business for years.
Working on technically challenging schemes in some of London's most complex environments, you'll play a key role in delivering major substructure and reinforced concrete packages from planning through to completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting site operations, coordinating engineering activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
