The role
As part of our growth plans, we are looking for a Smart Buildings Project Engineer to join our BMS projects team. We are looking for exceptional people who can bring big ideas, new skills and innovative thinking to help us build a world that's more sustainable for you, your family and the community you live in.
Our Support business has a fantastic reputation in the industry and has some exciting plans to grow and develop the region further, which you can play a key part in.
You will
- Manage the delivery of small to medium-sized BMS projects from initial planning through to final handover, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate project activities with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, managing programme, resources, procurement, and site progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Carry out the commissioning of BMS hardware and software, including point-to-point testing, functional testing, graphics, and optimisation to ensure systems perform to specification.
- Identify and resolve technical and project-related issues, implementing effective solutions while maintaining quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Produce and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, commissioning records, as-fitted information, and handover documentation to support successful project completion.

You have
- Good technical experience in Siemens, Trend, Distech or Tridium BEMS/HVAC Building Controls.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders, including customers and external service providers.
- Sound levels of customer service, with a professional approach and a dedication to meeting customer expectations, including delivering technical support, coaching and direction.
- An agile working approach, with flexibility to support an on-call rota structure.
- A full driving licence, as you will be travelling to different sites.
