Sprinkler Project Engineer — Manchester | £45,000–£60,000 + Car Allowance
Client is a fast-growing, PE-backed fire suppression specialist with UK, Irish and European operations — retained on a confidential basis.
Our client designs, manufactures, installs and services fire suppression systems across data centres, commercial, residential and warehouse sectors throughout the UK and wider Europe. Backed by significant private equity investment, they're expanding rapidly and have a strong live pipeline, including a growing share of data centre projects.
They're now looking to bring a Sprinkler Project Engineer into their Manchester office as one of their first hires in a planned wave of expansion for the team.
The Role
- Overseeing execution of live sprinkler projects from design handover through to completion
- Managing project resources and monitoring progress, adjusting as needed
- Coordinating closely with the in-house design team, reviewing designs and design amendments
- Liaising with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on track
- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits as required

What You'll Need
- Proven experience within fire sprinkler design or project engineering
- Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and/or BS 9251
- Comfortable reviewing and amending technical designs, even if not producing them from scratch
- Strong coordination and communication skills — this is a role that sits between design and delivery
- Background in commercial, residential, industrial or data centre sprinkler projects preferred
