Project Engineer
Location: Rotherham – UK travel
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist engineering business who are looking to recruit a Project Engineer.
The company offer a turnkey service covering specification, design, manufacture, testing, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
The role
As a Project Engineer, you'll help deliver customer projects from initial specification through to handover, working with our engineering, installation and commercial teams. You will:
- Support the planning, programming and delivery of projects across our product and service range
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, scopes of work and method statements
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and customers to keep projects on time and within budget
- Monitor cost, progress and quality, and report to the project manager
- Manage technical queries, changes and project documentation
- Support installation, commissioning and testing, including in hazardous environments
- Champion health, safety and environmental compliance on every project

About you
- Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, process, or similar)
- Experience in a project or site engineering role
- Knowledge of hazardous area working, or of tank and pipework systems, is desirable
- A methodical, problem-solving approach and good attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once
- Proficiency with MS Office and other relevant software such as CAD and MS Project
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
