Project Engineering Manager

Location: Hayes, West London

Sector: Data Centres

Salary: £80,000 – £90,000 + Package

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function on a major hyperscale data centre development in West London.

The project includes 18 data halls, approximately 24MW of usable IT power, high-voltage and medium-voltage energy centres, dual backup generation and extensive supporting infrastructure.

This is a senior and influential position with responsibility for engineering governance, technical assurance and quality across the project. You will provide independent oversight, challenge technical decisions where required and ensure works are delivered in line with approved design information, contractual obligations, statutory requirements and engineering best practice.

Role Overview

You will lead the project engineering team and establish clear engineering standards, governance processes and assurance activities across all packages.

The role will involve overseeing design compliance, technical integration, buildability and constructability, while acting as the key interface between design, construction and package delivery teams. You will also take ownership of the project’s technical assurance framework and quality strategy, ensuring NCRs, deviations, concessions and corrective actions are managed effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
