We are looking for an experienced Project Estimator to join a growing project delivery team, supporting a diverse portfolio of construction, refurbishment and facilities projects across a large UK-wide estate.

This is a varied, commercially focused position where you will be responsible for ensuring projects are accurately priced, commercially viable and deliver value for money. You will review contractor quotations and cost submissions, challenge pricing where appropriate and ensure proposed costs align with contractual requirements and agreed schedules of rates.

Projects will vary in scope and include HVAC and building services, asset replacements, building fabric, fit-outs, refurbishments, decorations and general building works.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, contractors and other key stakeholders, combining desk-based estimating and cost analysis with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse contractor quotations and project cost estimates.
  • Validate pricing against contractual requirements and relevant schedules of rates.
  • Assess costs relating to labour, materials, plant, transport and equipment hire.
  • Review pricing across HVAC, building fabric, fit-out, refurbishment and alteration projects.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver efficiencies and reduce costs without compromising quality or compliance.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications and take-offs to develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Produce detailed cost breakdowns, pricing schedules and project cost summaries.
  • Support bids, tenders and wider commercial submissions.
  • Present estimates and pricing recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Undertake site visits to gather information, validate requirements and monitor project progress.
  • Prepare and submit final quotations for works.
  • Work collaboratively with project and commercial teams to ensure projects remain within budget and meet contractual obligations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
