Outside IR35 Project Expeditor

Offering £30 per hour for an initial 3-month contract, with hybrid working available.

This is an exciting opportunity to support a major Upgrade Project within a High Hazard manufacturing environment, working closely with suppliers, procurement, engineering and the wider team.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for driving supplier progress, ensuring orders and engineering packages remain on schedule and identifying potential delivery risks. You will liaise directly with vendors, challenge progress where required and provide regular updates to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expedite supplier orders and monitor agreed delivery dates.
  • Track vendor documentation and manufacturing progress.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure commitments are maintained.
  • Identify and escalate delays and delivery risks.
  • Provide weekly expediting updates and progress reports.
  • Work closely with procurement, engineering and the wider team to support delivery.

Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Project Expeditor, Supplier Expeditor or similar.
  • Strong supplier expediting and procurement experience.
  • Previous EPC/EPCM or engineering project experience.
  • Mechanical, piping, valves or instrumentation experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and challenge suppliers.
