Deployment Project Engineer / Site Project Engineer / Project Manager
London and South West
to £75,000 plus share options | Permanent
Our client is a venture-backed clean energy engineering business.
We are looking for a Deployment Project Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of 1MW modular systems, from the London factory into the field.
Responsibilities
- Overall project delivery from factory to site, including programme scheduling, Gantt charts, risk registers and budget tracking
- Managing civil subcontractors across groundworks, utility connections, wiring, pipeline routes and solar installation
- Ensuring site activity complies with CDM Regulations and UK Health and Safety requirements
- Aligning manufacturing timelines with deployment schedules alongside production and permitting teams
- Bridging HQ development and field operations

Requirements
- 3 to 5 years in construction or deployment project management for physical hardware or infrastructure
- Degree in engineering or physical sciences
- CDM Regulations and UK H&S compliance knowledge
- Technical literacy across civil, electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Subcontractor and multi-trade coordination experience
- Deployment in remote or resource-constrained environments is a strong advantage

Logistics
- Five days on site, split between a London factory and project sites in the Swindon, South West area. Hotel accommodation provided for site work. Visa sponsorship and relocation support available.
