Assistant Vice President - Project Finance
A leading banking institution wishes to recruit within the project finance team, as an Assistant Vice President you will be responsible to assist with the analysis, structuring and execution of Project Finance transactions (renewables and Infrastructure).
Overview:
- Liaise with Head Office and the Group’s international network to support the development of the Bank’s international Project Finance business and provide high quality products and services to the Bank’s client
- Write concise business proposals and lead and complete the internal credit process in line with the policies and requirements of the Bank’s procedure
- Ability to analyse strengths and weaknesses of projects/structure in such transactions successfully taking into account the technology and commercial contracts proposed, regulatory and legal backdrop, and counterparties involved;
- Collaborate with in-house and external lawyers to complete facility documentation and ensure the agreements are acceptable and protect the Bank’s interests
- Manage a designated portfolio of existing transactions, including the active portfolio management of a subset of existing clients. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, conducting annual reviews, handling waiver requests and completing all associated post-lending management tasks in accordance with the Bank policies and procedures

Experience:

- Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred
- 5 years plus work experience in the Project/Structured Finance sector (renewable energy, Infrastructure)
- Excellent credit analysis skills
- Familiar with all applicable FCA regulations
- Ability to navigate around and understand loan documentation
