Project HSE Manager:

Engenda are looking to recruit an experienced Project HSE Manager to join one of the UK's largest Energy from Waste construction projects in North London.

This is a genuine long-term opportunity on a major project, offering stability, a strong project team, and the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure scheme.

We're looking for someone who is confident operating on a busy construction site, can build positive relationships with both client and contractor teams, and is passionate about driving high standards of safety performance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading health, safety and environmental activities across the project
  • Supporting operational teams to deliver work safely and efficiently
  • Conducting audits, inspections and investigations where required
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture across all levels of the workforce
  • Working closely with client representatives and project management teams
  • Driving continuous improvement and best practice throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a HSE Manager on major construction, industrial or energy projects
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and site safety management
  • Experience working within engineering, power generation, process, energy or heavy industrial environments
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with everyone from operatives through to senior management
