Role Overview
To develop and deliver a sector-leading property investment programme in our Unity Social (US) portfolio to ensure our pubs are well-invested and maintained to operational and safety standards at all times. Collaborating with colleagues across the business and supply chain to ensure we deliver high-quality investments. An understanding of operational, guest, and financial requirements of each project is key, working at multi-levels to ensure we make the best of each growth opportunity and invest wisely. Own the end-to-end investment process for each pub from inception to being ready to trade. Play a key role in the innovation of the design and development of customer-facing concepts – working as part of a cross-functional team

Accountabilities
Thriving together
- Successful Investment Programme: Delivering Unity Social transfers, acquisitions and investments, meeting targets for time, cost, and quality in line with the Unity Social investment strategy.
- Continuous Improvement: Contributing to ongoing improvements in the investment programme and supply chain, focusing on pub design, operational effectiveness, cost engineering, and project delivery.
- Budget Management: Managing capital investment budgets and providing monthly performance reports against the budget.

- Investment Programme Development: Leading the creation and delivery of a top-tier investment programme for the Unity Social estate, including transfers and investments in the existing Pub Estate, meeting targets for time, cost, and quality in line with the US investment strategy.
- Maintenance Standards: Ensuring pubs are maintained to operational and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Working with colleagues and the supply chain to deliver high-quality investments.

- Lead a focused, engaged supply chain to deliver these sector-leading investments. Building on existing success while challenging the norms to enable growth and progress.

- Deliver low carbon and environmentally sustainable principles across Unity pubs through our investment activities, considering equipment, materials, construction methods, and ongoing operations to minimise the environmental impact of our investments

- Source and develop supplier arrangements to support our US capex programme, working with the Commercial team to provide cost, quality, and availability of supply benefits to Punch.

Person Specification – Technical Competencies/Professional expertise
- Knowledge of the licensed retail sector (operations or estate or multi-site FMCG property experience)
- Capital investment experience covering a range and size of projects.
- Detailed knowledge of hospitality design – ability to interpret, influence and suggest design changes.
- Ability to travel widely across UK as required by programme of investments.
- IT literate – intermediate Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and advanced Excel
- Key behavioural traits required are Planning & Organising, Negotiation and Assertiveness skill,
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable ownership of personal development journey
