Project Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Lead based in United Kingdom.

This remote role supports a diverse portfolio of strategic, operational, and growth-focused initiatives. You will coordinate projects spanning business operations, recruitment, bids and grants, events, and programme development. The position requires strong organization and the ability to keep multiple teams, partners, and stakeholders aligned around shared objectives. You will help track milestones, manage risks, coordinate deliverables, and ensure projects progress effectively. The role also offers exposure to funding opportunities, business support programmes, and ecosystem initiatives. It is well suited to an adaptable professional who enjoys taking ownership and working across several areas in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and oversee multiple strategic, operational, and growth initiatives, tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding actions.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, external partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, delays, and challenges, escalating issues when appropriate and helping teams maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Support recruitment initiatives, including role definition, candidate coordination, onboarding, and cross-functional enablement.
  • Research public-sector, institutional, bid, tender, and grant opportunities and support the preparation of proposals, applications, narratives, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate stakeholder inputs, compliance requirements, submission deadlines, and reporting obligations associated with bids and grants.
  • Support the planning and delivery of workshops, events, community initiatives, and related programmes, coordinating logistics, participants, partners, and vendors.
  • Contribute to the development of accelerator and business support programmes by helping structure programme phases, participation criteria, processes, and value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, project updates, reporting, and records across assigned initiatives while ensuring alignment with funding, partnership, and ecosystem objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management, business operations, programme coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, coordination, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or comparable collaboration and productivity tools.
  • Experience with bids, proposals, tenders, or grant applications is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment, events, business programmes, or similar initiatives is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with project management, CRM, or recruitment platforms is preferred.
