Typical Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute product transfer, industrialization, and production insourcing projects from initial feasibility to full-volume production.
  • Plan and oversee manufacturing line ramp-ups, including optimization of assembly layouts and equipment integration.
  • Apply Lean Production principles (such as 5S, lean line design, and waste reduction) to establish highly efficient and standardized manufacturing workflows.
  • Manage and facilitate communication across critical functional interfaces, collaborating closely with Quality Management Manufacturing (QMM), Logistics (LOG), Purchasing (PUR), and regional engineering teams.
  • Serve as the core connection point for collaborative industrialization activities between Protec and the broader Bosch manufacturing network.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small, agile team of industrialization/transfer engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict alignment with Protec and Bosch Quality Gates.

  • Proven experience leading technical projects, specifically product transfers, production relocations, or insourcing programs. Essential
  • Experience in manufacturing line ramp-ups, with a strong preference for candidates with background knowledge in electronic products. Essential
