The role
We're looking for a Project Leader to take ownership of delivery excellence and client relationship management within our Retail Banking practice. You'll lead the execution of high quality client engagements across our benchmarking and market research work, support senior colleagues on commercial efforts, and begin building your own client relationships as you grow into broader commercial and leadership responsibilities.
You'll be trusted to run client engagements with real independence once you're up to speed, with senior oversight from our Principals and Senior Principals in your first 3 to 6 months while you get familiar with how BCG Expand works. From there, you'll work increasingly hand in hand with senior colleagues on pitches, proposals and go to market materials, progressively sourcing new business of your own over time, both within BCG and directly with clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
