About The Role

The Project Liaison Officer position in Exeter, offered by RGB Recruitment on a full-time basis, carries a salary range of £25,000 to £30,000 per hour. We are looking for a confident, organised and friendly Relationship Liaison Officer to work for a leading company working on a number of projects in Plymouth.

The role involves keeping everyone informed, managing relationships and making sure communication runs smoothly throughout construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and residents.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, clients, contractors and managing agents.
  • Keep residents informed about works, timescales, access requirements and project updates.
  • Liaise with site teams and internal departments to communicate resident needs.
  • Assist with pre-construction arrangements, including access, licences and council requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly notices, letters and monthly newsletters to residents.
  • Attend regular progress meetings
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and identify issues before they become problems.
  • Assist with project documentation, quality assurance records and document uploads.
  • Support the site manager and pre-construction team
  • Communicate project programme updates clearly to residents and clients.

Key Skills

  • Must have experience working within Construction, Housing, social Housing or something similar
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Confident dealing with difficult situations and resolving issues.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills and can manage tricky deadlines
  • Professional, approachable and proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
