Project Management Analyst - Consultant

Salary

£45,000 - £65,000

Hybrid

Our client is a specialist global consultancy focused exclusively on the investment management technology ecosystem, with deep expertise across leading investment platforms and the wider data landscape.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a high-performing Project Management Analyst to join their growing Delivery team and play a key role supporting major client transformation programmes.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career within a highly specialist consultancy. You will work alongside experienced delivery leaders, gaining exposure to some of the industry's largest and most complex investment technology transformation programmes.

The Project Management Analyst will…

  • Develop and maintain professional programme reports, dashboards and project trackers.
  • Gather updates from global stakeholders and transform complex, unstructured information into concise executive reporting and presentations.
  • Produce high-quality weekly status reports, programme summaries and management information.
  • Own and maintain project calendars, ensuring meetings, reporting cycles and key delivery milestones are planned, communicated and delivered.
  • Capture actions, decisions, risks, issues and dependencies, maintaining accurate project documentation.
  • Support workstream planning through the maintenance of action logs, task trackers, delivery runbooks and governance documentation.
  • Proactively follow up on overdue actions, risks, issues and reporting inputs with relevant owners.
  • Escalate delivery risks and ensure agreed timelines and commitments are maintained.
  • Support the wider programme team in maintaining a consistent and effective delivery cadence.
  • Work across multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing client requirements.
  • Bring exceptional attention to detail and quality to all project outputs.

You'll bring…

  • 2–3 years of consulting experience in a similar project management, PMO or programme support role.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to identify key messages and communicate complex information clearly and simply.
  • Demonstrable experience transforming large volumes of unstructured information into clear, concise and visually compelling executive presentations and reports.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment with changing priorities, demanding deadlines and global stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and charts, with the ability to transform and present data effectively.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and experience creating executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality outputs.
  • The ability to learn quickly, take ownership and work independently.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work flexibly when required to meet critical client deadlines.

It would be advantageous if you also have…

  • Completed a consulting graduate programme.
  • An understanding of investment management or investment technology implementation programmes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes, such as OMS, IBOR or ABOR implementations.
  • Experience using Jira, Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
