PMO Coordinator

As a PMO Coordinator, you'll help keep a complex client account running smoothly by supporting the planning, coordination and governance activities that underpin successful delivery.

What you'll do at work

Security, Compliance and Access Management

  • Maintain accurate records of team members’ access, onboarding status, and required checks (e.g. BPSS), ensuring information is current and reliable.
  • Monitor upcoming expiries or gaps in access or compliance and flag these to the PMO team in a timely way.
  • Support joiner, mover and leaver processes, ensuring access is requested, updated or removed in line with role changes.
  • Work with internal teams (e.g. HR, IT) to follow through on access-related actions and keep records aligned.
  • Develop an understanding of security and compliance expectations in a client environment and apply these consistently.

Onboarding and Mobilisation

  • Coordinate key steps in the onboarding process, ensuring new joiners have the right equipment, system access, and information ahead of their start date.
  • Maintain onboarding trackers and checklists, keeping status up to date and visible to the wider team.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding onboarding actions (e.g. access requests, equipment delivery) to avoid delays.
  • Support a consistent onboarding experience by applying standard processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Onsite Support

  • Be on site regularly to support the account team.
  • Welcome new joiners and visitors, including collecting from reception and escorting on site where required.
  • Support practical on-site needs that help the team operate smoothly and professionally.
  • Coordinate building access, passes and site onboarding with the client’s site management or facilities teams.
  • Maintain an up-to-date view of who has access to which locations and resolve access issues quickly to avoid delivery disruption.

Delivery Governance

  • Maintain and update governance artefacts (e.g. internal RAID logs, trackers, milestone views), ensuring they are accurate, structured and easy to use.
  • Gather updates from delivery teams and reflect these clearly in governance materials.
  • Track risks, issues, actions and dependencies, ensuring they are visible and followed up.
  • Support the preparation of governance packs and meeting materials, ensuring information is clear and complete.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies or outdated information and take action to resolve them.

Account Management Support

  • Track staffing movements (joiners, leavers, role changes), ensuring records reflect the current view of the account.
  • Support coordination of meetings (internal and client), including scheduling, materials, and action tracking.
  • Maintain action logs, ensuring ownership is clear and follow-ups are captured and progressed.
  • Help ensure key information (e.g. trackers, documents) is organised, accessible, and easy to navigate.
  • Help ensure the right internal documentation is in place, including purchase orders, statements of work and related approvals.
  • Begin to spot patterns or recurring issues (e.g. onboarding delays, recurring access gaps) and raise these with the PMO team.
  • Work with internal teams to improve processes over time, reducing manual effort and delivery risk.
  • Contribute ideas to improve ways of working, based on day-to-day experience of processes.
  • Support the Delivery Principal and Account Lead in preparing for client meetings, including coordination of materials, logistics and actions.
  • Support and coordinate the implementation of social value initiatives in line with contractual commitments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
