Role Overview
We are currently supporting a London-based financial partner as they work to modernize their internal operations and remove technical friction. As a Project Management Intern, you will assist our team in identifying the manual workarounds and broken processes that slow down their day-to-day business. Your role is not about high-level strategy or making pretty slides: it is about getting into the details of how tasks move from one department to another. This is a fully remote position where you will help us track progress, update documentation, and ensure that the fixes we implement actually stay fixed. We need someone who is more interested in how a routing rule works than in corporate theory.
About Tech Pipeline
- We focus on operational drag: the specific bottlenecks that stop companies from moving quickly.
- We look at the seams between different software tools to find where data gets lost or corrupted.
- Our work involves fixing manual reconciliations and updating outdated SOPs that no longer reflect reality.
- We do not offer abstract frameworks: we provide specific, technical fixes to routing rules and approval chains.
- We stay through the cutover and the first month of operation to make sure our solutions hold up under pressure.
- We value plain English, clear documentation, and named ownership for every task we take on.
- Our goal is to leave the client stable and self-sufficient, moving on once they no longer need us.
What You Will Do
- Monitor project boards to ensure that every task has a clear owner and a documented next step.
- Attend discovery sessions with the financial firm's operations team to map out how they currently handle manual data entry.
- Update internal runbooks and SOPs as we change the way data flows through their systems.
- Assist in tracking the decision log to ensure that all changes to the project scope are clearly recorded.
- Work with our technical leads to document why specific routing rules were changed or created.
- Help organize the final handover package so the client can manage their new processes without outside help.
- Draft weekly status updates that focus on what was finished, what is blocked, and what comes next.
- Observe system logs alongside our engineers to help identify patterns in where processes are failing.
- Maintain the project backlog, ensuring that stale data or outdated tasks are cleared out regularly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
