We are helping a Birmingham-based industrial distributor clear out the bottlenecks in their supply chain management systems.
This Project Management Internship exists to support the cleanup of their internal routing rules and to ensure that manual workarounds do not become permanent fixtures in their workflow. You will be working directly with our lead operators to organize task lists, update documentation, and keep the project moving through the final stages of the cutover. This is a fully remote role where you will see exactly how software configurations either help or hinder a team daily output.

What You Will Do
- Update and maintain the project decision log to ensure every change is recorded and justified.
- Read through system logs and user feedback to identify where a process is degrading into chaos.
- Coordinate with the technical team to update stale data in the staging environment before a migration.
- Rewrite internal runbooks to match the actual steps taken during the recent system cutover.
- Monitor the project backlog for drifting tasks that lack clear owners, deadlines, or definitions.
- Participate in remote status updates to communicate technical progress to the client lead clearly.
- Help organize the final documentation handoff so the client can operate independently after we leave.
- Identify recurring manual workarounds that could be replaced by a permanent routing rule.

How We Work
