Earlier this year, building on the strong foundation of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as a fund manager, we introduced an optimized CIP Platform, with three platform companies providing services to CIP. To learn more, please refer to the CIP Platform section below.

In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Terra Technologies – a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage systems, to bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure – is currently looking for Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to join the team in Brisbane, Australia.

Team

The team currently consists of ~25 employees with renewable energy backgrounds. The CIPTT team in Australia is delivering some of the largest renewable energy projects in Australia across BESS, onshore wind and pumped hydro. The successful candidate will become part of the growing CIPTT team with offices across Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney & Brisbane. Regular travel between offices may be required, including regular attendance at the Project team office in Brisbane.

Role

We are looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to own project governance, planning and reporting on a major (400MW+) onshore wind and BESS project in Queensland through construction and to COD. The project is in the final stages of development and will have a 3-4 year construction period.

The PMO Lead is a key role in the construction project organisation, reporting to the Project CEO and acting as the Project CEO’s PMO focal point. The role provides structured coordination across workstreams, ensuring the project leadership team has clear, current and decision-ready information on programme, risks, opportunities, actions, interfaces and governance status.

The PMO Lead is accountable for the project’s governance, planning, reporting and decision-coordination framework, including the integrated master schedule, the SteerCo reporting cycle, project controls coordination and cross-contract interface visibility, implementing CIPTT’s project management standards and delivery model across governance, stage gates and execution.

The PMO Lead role is primarily office-based, with periodic site visits as required. A key is establishing an effective, high productivity working relationship with the integrated project management team (IPMT), which provides the project’s schedulers, project controls and reporting specialists. We are open for other locations in Australia.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

  • The PMO Lead is accountable for the project’s governance, planning, reporting and decision-coordination framework, ensuring baselines are maintained, decisions are tracked and the project leadership team, SteerCo and Board receive timely, consistent and decision-ready information. The position is central to the Project ensuring that multiple contract interfaces can be derisked with active schedule management and effective communication for teams and package leads working on a remote worksite.

The responsibilities further include:

Leadership & Coordination:

  • Act as the Project CEO’s PMO focal point, providing structured coordination across workstreams and ensuring the project leadership team has clear, current and decision-ready information on programme, risks, opportunities, actions, interfaces and governance status
  • Implement CIPTT’s project management standards and delivery model in alignment with governance, stage gates and execution requirements, and establish and maintain PMO tools in line with CIPTT standards

Governance & Reporting:

  • Establish and coordinate the Project reporting cycle, including receiving contractor reports and compiling information to meet the Projects reporting obligations to SteerCo, lenders and other counterparties
  • Own project governance, planning and reporting, including the project reporting cadence, governance forums, decision coordination and preparation of materials for monthly SteerCo reporting
  • Coordinate governance across the project’s multi-party delivery model, including leadership team forums established under the project’s services agreements, ensuring agendas, papers, minutes and action logs support timely decisions and escalation
  • Coordinate project reporting systems and dashboards, ensuring schedule, cost, risk, progress, commercial and decision data are structured, consistent and available for Project CEO, SteerCo, Board and wider project leadership reporting
  • Align the IPMT’s weekly and monthly reporting cycles with the owner’s monthly SteerCo and Board reporting, avoiding duplication and ensuring consistency of data across reports

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
