Role Title: PMO

Location: Glasgow (2-3 WFO)
Duration: 31/05/2027
Rate: £313 per day (PAYE through FCSA Umbrella)

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced PMO professional to support the governance, planning, execution, and reporting of strategic business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project governance, stakeholder management, financial tracking, resource planning, and reporting experience, ensuring project delivery aligns with organizational objectives and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and controls.
  • Track project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and actions.
  • Produce regular status reports, dashboards, and management information (MI) packs for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project portfolio reviews, steering committees, and governance forums.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational project management methodologies and policies.
  • Support RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and mitigation planning.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications and project documentation management.
  • Track project delivery KPIs and ensure timely escalation of delivery risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in PMO processes, reporting, and governance practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in PMO, Project Coordination, or Project Governance roles.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
  • Experience managing project reporting, financial tracking, and resource planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project/PPM tools.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, Planview, or similar project management tools.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, data, technology, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • PMO, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or related certifications preferred.
