Investment Bank PMO Opportunity
An investment bank in London is seeking a PMO to work closely with their Chief Strategy Office and play a central role in planning, tracking, and delivering strategic initiatives across Banking, Trading, IT, workforce, and wider business operations. This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone eager to learn the mechanics of investment banking while contributing meaningfully from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Project Coordination
- Support the Chief Strategy Officer in coordinating and tracking strategic initiatives.
- Maintain project tracking across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring milestones, actions, and dependencies are clearly documented and monitored.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Prepare briefing materials, status reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather updates, chase actions, and surface risks or blockers in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, registers, and logs in line with business standards.

Process Improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Support the adoption of tools and platforms that streamline operations and enhance business productivity.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a high-growth business environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation and stakeholder-facing materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
- A genuine interest in Technology, Investment Banking, and Trading.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking initiative in a scaling business environment.

Desirable Skills
- Interest in and awareness of AI platforms and tools, including conversational AI (such as Claude or ChatGPT), workflow automation, and emerging productivity technologies.
- Experience using project and task tracking tools including but not limited to any one of Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Exposure to data manipulation and visualisation tools.
