Project Management Practice Lead

We are working with a leading organisation in Edinburgh that are looking for a Project Management Practice Lead to join the company at a time of transformation and change.

About the Role

The Project Management Practice Lead (PMPL) is responsible for establishing and leading our clients' Project Management capability, ensuring the organisation delivers complex digital transformation programmes consistently, predictably, and profitably. The role provides strategic leadership across the delivery portfolio, balancing client success, commercial performance, governance, and organisational capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the COO: Work closely with the Executive Team, Sales, Technology, and Business functions.
  • Establish a PMO: Create a proportionate Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Strengthen Delivery Governance: Enhance governance and create the operational foundations required to support clients' continued growth.
  • Accountability: Ensure the effectiveness of the delivery system, providing the necessary governance, capability, visibility, and leadership for successful delivery as the client scales.
