Business Capability & Delivery Lead

Location: Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington (3 days per week onsite)

Rate: £232.36 per day + holiday pay (PAYE) or £298.32 per day (Umbrella)

Contract: 12 months

Join a leading division focused on Bioresources & Energy Services, supporting a range of business improvement, change, and transformation initiatives. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to coordinate strategic programmes, drive project delivery, and support the implementation of business change across various areas such as fleet management, logistics, and green energy.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and coordinate governance activities, including Transformation Boards and business review meetings.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support the delivery and embedment of business change initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Produce reports, presentations, business cases, and stakeholder updates.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and project governance forums.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, operational managers, People teams, and Trade Unions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong project coordination or project management experience.
  • Experience delivering business change, transformation, or continuous improvement projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Previous experience organising governance meetings, workshops, and senior leadership reporting.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects forward proactively.
  • PRINCE2, APM, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar methodology experience would be advantageous.
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
