The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a growing engineering and product development team working on a wide range of complex and bespoke electronics and communications products. This role is ideal for an experienced engineering professional with project management experience who enjoys working across multiple departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams, you will support the successful delivery of new product development projects from concept through to manufacture and release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & Coordinate engineering and development project activities
  • Maintain key project documentation including project plans and statements of work
  • Schedule and track project tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
  • Manage prototype and development material ordering, including PCBs and metalwork
  • Organise and facilitate project review meetings
  • Manage resource planning and project roadmap delivery

Skills & Experience required:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Project Management or Senior Project engineering experience, managing extended project life cycles
  • Previous experience within a design engineering, project engineering, or product development environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach

Experience or knowledge in some of the following areas would be advantageous:

  • New product development (NPD)
  • Electronics or embedded systems
  • RF, analogue or digital electronics
