Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Car Allowance + Comprehensive Package
The Project Manager role
We're working with a top civil engineering contractor who are looking to add a Project Manager to their business. As a contractor they undertake large-scale varied infrastructure works so it'll be ideal if you come from this background yourself. The project is a major infrastructure scheme and will be on you'll definitely want on in your portfolio of works, if you are have experience in civil engineering and want to work on a major project which is set to massively benefit the local area, allowing the creation of thousands of full-time roles for the community then please read on.

What the Project Manager will do
- You'll be someone who can deliver projects from inception to completion, adhering to the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards to work on an upcoming project.
- The Project Manager will have a proven track record in delivering civil engineering projects on-time and within budget.
- My client is able to offer a fantastic market-leading package as well as the opportunity to grow and develop with the business, giving you the autonomy to be your own boss and make your own decisions in the betterment of yourself and the business.
The right Project Manager will have:
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in a similar Civils/Infrastructure role.
- Knowledge of civil engineering and construction management processes, systems and standards.
- Previous project experience working on highways-based projects across the UK.
- Excellent Communicator / interfacing skills.
- Sound Commercial Acumen (including budget management and cost/waste control).
- Degree qualified or HNC and above.
- SMSTS
- Previous work as Project Manager running multiple projects within civil engineering is advantageous.
- Experience of managing the entire site, including Site Agents, Engineers, and Commercial team members.
- Management and control of all site staff.
