Job Title: Operations Transformation Project Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global financial services organisation for an experienced Operations Transformation Project Manager to join a large-scale banking transformation programme based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to lead complex change initiatives across a highly regulated environment, supporting operational readiness, migration planning, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement as part of a multi-country transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive programme planning and delivery across multiple transformation workstreams
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues and critical milestones to support successful delivery
  • Coordinate operational readiness activities, including controls, processes, training and go-live preparation
  • Produce senior stakeholder updates, governance materials and executive reporting
  • Facilitate working groups and steer complex decision-making across business and technology teams
  • Conduct impact assessments and support risk mitigation activities
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Finance, Product and Risk stakeholders across the programme

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Significant Project Management experience within Financial Services
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation or change programmes
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and operational readiness
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across business and technology teams
  • Strong governance, risk management and delivery planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and project planning skills
  • Experience within banking transformation, platform migrations or operational change programmes would be highly advantageous
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and Jira is desirable

Additional Information:

If successful, this role offers a competitive rate on a long-term contract running until August 2027 with possible extension and the opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation programme within a leading global financial institution. This position is Belfast based and follows a hybrid working model. Candidates must work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
