The Bamford Collection: Project Manager (Fixed-Term, 18 Months)

About Us

The Bamford Collection is a group of conscientious-minded lifestyle brands, dedicated to nourishing people and the planet.

The Mill is the Collection’s first full-service hotel—a design-led retreat in the Cotswolds blending understated elegance, mindful craftsmanship and a deep sense of place. The property includes:

  • Ten individually thatched cottages
  • A members’ club
  • A restaurant and bar
  • A private dining space
  • A wild swimming lake
  • A spa

The Mill embodies the Collection’s core values: quality, craft, sustainability and authenticity.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Project Manager for an 18-month fixed-term contract to deliver one of our most ambitious projects—launching The Mill Hotel and Private Members’ Club in Kingham, Gloucestershire.

This key role will oversee the entire end-to-end project from concept through to operational launch, ensuring alignment with the opportunities, commercial goals and vision of the Bamford Collection. You will drive operational, commercial and strategic objectives, shaping a world-class destination while coordinating pre-opening activity, recruitment, training and guest experience refinement across accommodation, food & beverage, wellness and membership.

Based at our Daylesford Farm, Gloucestershire, this full-time, office-based position requires strong collaboration across business functions and external partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
