Project Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join one of our well-established clients in Stansted.
Our client is a leading UK construction company specialising in RC frames, groundworks, civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of highways and infrastructure projects.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee contract administration, commercial performance, and risk management.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, reporting regularly on progress and key milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, local authorities, utility providers, and design consultants.
- Drive compliance with HSE legislation, company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for programme improvements, value engineering, and cost efficiencies.
- Support bid and pre-construction activities where required.

Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within Highways, Civil Engineering, or Infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of highways construction, road schemes, junction improvements, S278 works, earthworks, drainage, utilities, and associated civil engineering activities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining programme and budget control.
- Experience working under NEC contracts is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in project reporting, planning, and risk management.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work (desirable).
