Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Hinkley Point C, you’ll help deliver complex work that supports the safe construction of a new generation nuclear power station. The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of critical contracts and work packages across the Hinkley Point C project. Working within a technically complex and highly regulated environment, you’ll drive progress across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery.
- Join us on a salary starting of £66,866 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus.
- This is a fully site-based role at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, with attendance on site minimum 3 days per week.
This is an opportunity to influence major project outcomes, lead diverse teams, and contribute to EDF’s journey towards An Electric Britain. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders, manage significant contracts, and help deliver the infrastructure needed to support Britain’s low-carbon future.

- Managing major projects throughout the full project lifecycle within a technically complex and regulated environment
- Leading the delivery of engineering, procurement, construction, or commissioning activities to agreed safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements
- Managing contracts and work packages with accountability for budget, risk, change, and programme performance
- Using project management tools and techniques including scheduling, risk management, and Earned Value Management
Although desirable, however, not essential, We’re looking for you to hold a degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline, alongside a recognised Project Management qualification.
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the safe and effective delivery of assigned contracts or work packages across the Hinkley Point C programme
- Developing and implementing project execution strategies, plans, and delivery schedules
- Managing project risks, issues, budgets, and resources to support successful delivery
- Maintaining strong relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Monitoring project performance and providing accurate reporting against cost, schedule, and quality objectives
