Location: Cotswolds, Oxfordshire & Thames Valley

We are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team, delivering our AMP8 programme for Thames Water across the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and Thames Valley regions.

Tilbury Douglas has already been allocated circa £250m of projects in the region as part of the significantly enlarged AMP8 programme running to 2030. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of projects at Thames Water Treatment Works, with schemes ranging from £2.5m to £25m and incorporating civil, mechanical, electrical and ICA works.

You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, taking responsibility for safe, high-quality delivery while building strong relationships with Thames Water, our supply chain and other key stakeholders.

Key Duties

  • Lead projects from planning through to successful completion, ensuring excellent performance across safety, health, wellbeing, environment, programme, cost and quality.
  • Recruit, lead and develop high-performing project teams, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships across Thames Water, project teams, supply chain partners and end users.
  • Manage project budgets, commercial performance and risk, using KPIs to monitor progress, identify efficiencies and drive improvements.
  • Champion innovation, sustainability and digital ways of working, including the adoption of A-Site, our Integrated Management System (IMS), and modern construction and programme management techniques.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
