On-Site Project Manager

Location: Bristol initially, with potential travel to sites across Scotland and other UK locations
Employment Type: Full-Time or Contractor
Company: Delstron Systems

About the Role

Delstron Systems is looking for an experienced and organised On-Site Project Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of our site-based projects. The initial role will be based primarily on a project in Leeds, with the potential for future projects across Scotland and other locations throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact between Delstron, our clients, subcontractors and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget. This is a hands-on site management role and will suit someone who is confident dealing directly with clients, managing site teams and keeping track of the commercial and practical requirements of a project.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Project Management

  • Take day-to-day responsibility for the management and coordination of Delstron’s site activities.
  • Coordinate Delstron operatives, subcontractors and other site personnel.
  • Plan and organise site activities to ensure works are completed in accordance with the project programme.
  • Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or issues at an early stage.
  • Liaise with the Delstron office and Project Engineers to ensure site requirements are communicated effectively.
  • Ensure labour and resources are appropriately planned and utilised.
  • Coordinate deliveries, equipment, materials and site requirements.

Client Liaison

  • Act as a key point of contact for the client and their site representatives.
  • Attend regular client/project meetings and provide updates on progress.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and other contractors.
  • Discuss and resolve day-to-day site issues with the client where appropriate.
  • Identify potential additional works and ensure these are communicated back to the Delstron office for review and quotation.
  • Maintain clear records of client instructions and changes to the agreed scope of works.

Health & Safety

  • Attend and participate in client and site Health & Safety meetings.
  • Ensure Delstron personnel are working in accordance with RAMS, site rules and company procedures.
  • Coordinate site inductions, permits and other site requirements as necessary.
  • Monitor working practices and raise any Health & Safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and records are maintained throughout the project.
  • Liaise with the Delstron office regarding any incidents, near misses or site safety concerns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
