Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Working closely with Site Managers, commercial teams, clients and subcontractors, you'll be responsible for driving programme performance, coordinating trade packages and providing technical support throughout the construction process.
  • This is a hands-on project management role where your construction knowledge and ability to solve problems will be just as important as your leadership and organisational skills.

About You

  • You'll have previous experience delivering refurbishment, roofing or maintenance projects for a main contractor and be confident managing multiple live schemes simultaneously.
  • You'll be comfortable coordinating subcontractors, monitoring programmes and working closely with operational teams to overcome technical construction challenges as they arise.
  • Whether it's sequencing complex roofing works, resolving buildability issues or advising site teams on practical construction solutions, you'll enjoy being actively involved in project delivery rather than simply managing from a distance.
  • Strong communication, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving are essential, together with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
