Project Manager

London, UK - Hybrid - 2 days a week in office

Role Overview

Project Manager with 10 Years Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (MA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Should lead and coordinate business integration, separation, and divestiture programs across the deal lifecycle
  • Should be able to manage due diligence, support, drive cross-functional work streams, track financial targets and synergies, and ensure Day 1 operational readiness

Core Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Management
    • Lead end-to-end MA integration, carve-outs, and post-close stabilization
  • Planning & Governance
    • Create roadmaps, track critical milestones, manage budgets, and build governance structures
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Align work streams across HR, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Technology
  • Risk Issue Mitigation
    • Identify roadblocks, escalate critical issues, and enforce accountability across teams
  • Reporting & Value Capture
    • Monitor synergy realization, build executive dashboards, and report to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 4 to 8 years of progressive project management experience, ideally with direct exposure to MA transactions or large transformations
  • Tools Proficiency
    • Advanced command of tracking platforms like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Monday.com
  • Soft Skills
    • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership without direct authority
  • Preferred Credentials
    • Professional certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum
